This is a charming site. It is now a three star much bigger than it looks from the entrance, it’s got 100 pitches Electric is 6 amp  Reverse polarity.

 It is situated on an island  formed by the Tarn (CARP river) one side and a Mill stream (complete with trout) the other.  Access is through a tunnel over the mill wheels and over a curved bridge  which looks a little scary but it’s plenty wide enough.  The site is quite close to the A10 although you wouldn’t believe it as it’s peaceful and quiet.

The area has loads of bike rides available as here are lots of lanes and a good canal tow paths complete with viaduct for the canal over the river.

The most Famous Carp river in France the Tarn.  AND I couldn’t fish it as the Internationals were being fished so no Day Tickets

The town of Moissac is quite historical with it’s Ancient Abbye and Cloisters , is a touristy area lots of bars to sit and watch the world go by, and has everything close by with a nice L'Clerc on the outskirts too .

We ended up here with a tow truck as the Laguna had suffered a popped turbo hose, for the second time.  Red Pennant were Fantastic sorted a spare tow car and garage to fix the problem -  we were in a state our ferry was due in 3 days the Renault garage said it would take 4 days.

BUT

We decided to visit the garage--they could not understand English (really I don’t believe it) -- We found them typical mechanics they had not even looked at the car at all !  

So a pretend phone call was made in earshot of the chief mechanic---- they suddenly seemed to understand English and 4 grease monkeys were crawling all over it in 30 seconds --

We got the car back next day

  It made the operators at Red Pennant laugh too
